In response, Morka and the APC denied the allegations. During a recent interview on Arise TV, Morka maintained that he had been the one receiving threats to his life following Obi’s accusations of being behind the threats.
In a recent development, Obi took to his official X page today to clarify the situation, describing the rumours of his arrest as baseless.

He stated that the intentions of those spreading the rumours cannot be positive, emphasising that such baseless claims should not distract his followers from the critical challenges facing the nation.
He said, “I Thank the public for the concern, support, and dedication to the cause of a better Nigeria that is possible!”
