Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has expressed confidence that the visit and prayers of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), will greatly enhance the fortunes of the state.
Governor Oyebanji shared this optimism in Ilogbo Ekiti during the RCCG programme titled “Light Up Ilogbo”, today which coincided with the church’s annual December event, “Let’s Go A-Fishing.”
Governor Oyebanji described Pastor Adeboye’s visit as a divine blessing for the state, its government, and its people, especially as the new year approaches with high expectations.
He emphasised that the prophetic declarations made by Pastor Adeboye would manifest in the lives of Ekiti residents and his administration as the year unfolds.

“During his sermon, he said he brought good news to us in Ekiti State. The programme is titled “Light Up Ilogbo Ekiti”, and I firmly believe that this light will extend beyond Ilogbo to illuminate the entire Ekiti State,” the governor said.

“This visit is a wonderful Christmas gift for us as a state. His presence on Ekiti soil assures me that good news will follow all of us in Jesus’ name.”
Earlier in his sermon, Pastor Adeboye, who noted that it was his first visit to the town, declared that God had sent him with a message of blessings, breakthroughs, and positive transformations for individuals, families, and the state.
He further proclaimed an end to the era of stagnation and difficulties in Ekiti State, assuring the people of a brighter and more prosperous future.
