The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released its detailed timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections in Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Monday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, confirmed that the timetable was signed by the National Organising Secretary, His Excellency Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR.
The document, released in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and the Electoral Act 2026, as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revised timetable, sets out clear timelines for key pre-election activities.
The schedule begins with the Notice of Election to State Chapters on Monday, 20 April 2026. The sale of forms at the APC National Secretariat will run from Saturday, 25 April to Saturday, 2 May 2026, with the last day for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents set for Monday, 4 May 2026.

Screening of aspirants for State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship, and Presidential positions is scheduled for Wednesday, 6 May to Friday, 8 May 2026, with presidential screening on Saturday, 9 May.
Publication of screening results will follow on Monday, 11 May, while screening appeals are set for Tuesday, 12 May to Wednesday, 13 May 2026.
Primary elections are scheduled as follows:
– Presidential: Friday, 15 May – Saturday, 16 May 2026
– House of Representatives: Monday, 18 May 2026
– Senate: Wednesday, 20 May 2026
– State House of Assembly: Thursday, 21 May 2026
– Governorship: Saturday, 23 May 2026
Election appeals will take place between 18 and 25 May 2026, depending on the position.
The party has also published nomination fees. For primary elections, aspirants will pay Expression of Interest and Nomination fees as follows:
– House of Assembly: ₦6,000,000
– House of Representatives: ₦10,000,000
– Senate: ₦20,000,000
– Governorship: ₦50,000,000
– Presidential: ₦100,000,000

Female aspirants, youth, and physically challenged aspirants will enjoy a 50% discount on the Nomination fee and pay the full Expression of Interest fee for each position.
