Speaking on Thursday at the State House in Abuja while receiving members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Tinubu said the wellbeing of Nigerians remains his top priority. He noted that his administration is steadily restructuring key political and economic systems that have long limited growth and participation.
The President explained that ongoing reforms are designed to create opportunities for all citizens, particularly the poor and vulnerable, while laying the foundation for long-term national development.
“I will not run away from this task. I will not give up,” Tinubu said, assuring supporters of his determination to see the reforms through.
He urged the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and continue sensitising Nigerians on government policies aimed at improving livelihoods. According to him, public understanding and participation are critical to achieving lasting change.
“You represent the conscience of a nation that wants to break the shackles of poverty and hopelessness,” he told the delegation, encouraging them to remain focused and united.

Tinubu also emphasised the importance of democracy and the rule of law, warning against disobedience to lawful court orders. He said respect for institutions and adherence to democratic principles are essential for national stability and progress.
“We must uphold democracy, respect the judiciary whether it favours us or not, and build one country with a common vision for progress and prosperity,” he said.
Responding to criticism from opposition figures, the President dismissed attempts to distract him, insisting that his administration remains focused on delivering results. He described Nigeria as a country with vast potential that must be developed through collective effort.
“They cannot scare me off. There is no better place than our country, and no one will build it for us except ourselves,” he added.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, several serving governors, and other political leaders, who expressed support for the administration’s reform agenda.
Tinubu reiterated that his government remains committed to inclusive growth, job creation, and ensuring that every Nigerian has a stake in the country’s future, urging citizens to remain patient as reforms take effect.
