The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially resumed its electronic membership registration exercise, urging both existing and prospective members to take part in the nationwide drive.
In a press statement issued today, the party announced that the e-registration process is now active in all wards and designated locations across the country.

Existing members have been asked to validate their details, while new applicants are encouraged to register and become part of what the APC describes as “the progressive family”.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must present a valid National Identification Number (NIN) before they can complete the process.
The party emphasised that the digital platform is intended to modernise its records and bring greater transparency to membership management.
The statement highlighted several key objectives of the initiative. It will digitise the APC’s membership register, guarantee the integrity of party records, and improve access to accurate data for planning and decision-making.
Officials believe the system will also strengthen internal democracy by providing a more reliable and verifiable membership base, while reinforcing the party’s broader commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
Felix Morka, CON, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, signed the statement.
He described the resumption as a significant step towards building a more efficient and technology-driven political organisation.

The move comes as the party continues efforts to streamline its structures ahead of future electoral cycles.
Party leaders say the electronic system will reduce administrative bottlenecks and ensure that only eligible Nigerians are captured in the official register.
Members and interested individuals have been advised to visit their local wards or the designated registration centres to participate in the exercise.
