The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has cited its recent party activities in Nigeria as a demonstration of “discipline”.
According to a statement by the party’s spokesperson, Hon. Seye Oladejo, the party successfully completed its electronic membership registration and local congresses across the state, noting that the exercise was orderly, peaceful and followed all legal rules.
The Lagos APC further explained that while many other political groups face internal fights and confusion, it focused on building a solid system. The congresses, held in various wards and local government areas, saw a large turnout of members who behaved in an orderly manner.
Oladejo stated that the new leaders chosen for the State Executive represent a good combination of people. The team was described as a group of experienced older members and energetic young people. The party also made sure to balance the leadership between men and women to ensure everyone is represented.
Oladejo maintained that the success of these programmes proves why the APC remains the top choice for voters in Lagos. He mentioned that the party values structure and coordination over “noise-making” or “social media agitation”.
The party emphasised its strength and competence in maintaining unity and discipline.
Oladejo said, “The APC in Lagos stands disciplined. It stands cohesive. It stands battle-ready.”
It was said that Lagosians prefer the stability and progress offered by the APC rather than the conflicts seen elsewhere. This suggests the party’s maintenance of discipline and focus on its goals.
