Granada striker Edna Imade has been named Liga F Player of the Month for December, cementing her reputation as one of the league’s standout players. The 24-year-old Nigerian international delivered an exceptional performance last month, scoring three goals and registering one assist to secure the accolade.
Imade edged out a competitive field that included top talents such as Amaiur Sarriegi (Real Sociedad), Jone Amezaga (Athletic Club), Signe Bruun (Real Madrid CF), Esmee Brugts (FC Barcelona), Romane Salvador (RCD Espanyol), and Andrea Álvarez (SD Eibar).
The Super Falcons prospect currently sits second on the Liga F scoring chart with eight goals this season, trailing Barcelona star Ewa Pajor, who leads with nine.
Imade’s achievement follows a trail blazed by Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, who won the inaugural Liga F Player of the Month award in September. Notable past winners include Spain’s Alexia Putellas and Patri Guijarro, who took the honors in October and November, respectively.
With her remarkable form, Imade continues to elevate her profile, signaling a bright future for Nigerian football on the global stage.
