Ancelotti gives update on Mbappe’s recovery, ” He is close to 100%”

Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti addressed a pre-match press conference ahead of this fixture, highlighting important updates as his team prepares for a chance to overtake Barcelona at the top of the league table.
When the question came up about potential transfer deals for the team ahead of the winter window, he hammered strongly on his team’s strength, mentioning defender David Alaba’s impending return. He said, “If we need a suitable player for Real Madrid, we wouldn’t rule it out, but it’s not that simple. We have youth players who can contribute, the return of Alaba, who will soon be with the team… At the moment we’re not thinking about making any signings.”
The Los Blancos lost their starting right-back Dani Carvajal to a season-ending injury just before the break and must now continue their season in his absence.
