Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced that the largest food logistics hall in sub-Saharan Africa will commence operations in Lagos by 2025.
Speaking after a tour of the state-of-the-art digital studios of TVC News at Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, the governor disclosed that the hall will be launched alongside several middle-level markets in Mushin, Ajah, Agege, and Ikorodu.
According to him, these initiatives are designed to enhance food sufficiency and security, underscoring the government’s dedication to empowering every resident of Lagos State.
“As we uphold local government autonomy, Lagos remains a model of collaboration and independence. Our joint initiatives with local governments, such as security improvements and infrastructure projects, demonstrate how partnerships drive impactful governance.
“I will continue to engage directly with our residents and the media to show that leadership and excellence are what we stand for. Lagos leads, Lagos delivers”, Sanwo-Olu added.
The governor, while highlighting that he was the first guest on the newly launched TVC Open Studio during the Breakfast Show, described the milestone as a testament to TVC Communications’ transition to its state-of-the-art facility.

He stated that the new location solidifies Lagos’ status as a hub for innovation, creativity, and excellence in the media industry.
He pointed out that the cutting-edge facilities, the largest and most advanced in sub-Saharan Africa, embody Lagos’ core values of innovation, connectivity, and boundless possibilities.
He underscored the critical role of the media in fostering unity, shaping public opinion, and driving socio-economic progress.
Governor Sanwo-Olu further stressed the need to maximize the potential of these advanced facilities to inform, educate, and inspire the populace.
He also discussed key developments in Lagos and Nigeria, noting that signs of stability in the financial markets present an opportunity to deliver tangible benefits to residents.
“By staying strategically positioned, Lagos will continue to lead in leveraging these opportunities for the social and economic well-being of our people”, Sanwo-Olu said.
