Lagos Assembly Crisis: Tinubu in crucial meeting with Obasa, Meranda, others

President Bola Tinubu is currently hosting members of the Lagos State House of Assembly at the State House, Abuja, in a bid to address the ongoing tensions within the legislative body.

The lawmakers, who arrived in two coaster buses on Wednesday afternoon, proceeded directly to the President’s office, where they awaited the scheduled meeting.

Among those present are the reinstated Speaker,  Mudashiru Obasa, and his successor-turned-deputy, Mojisola Meranda.

While Meranda arrived with her colleagues shortly after 2 p.m., Obasa arrived separately around 2:50 p.m.
