The Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the FCT Police Command has apprehended four notorious kidnappers involved in multiple abductions across Jabi, Dutse village, Lugbe, and other locations within the region.
This was revealed by the FCT Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, via her X page on Thursday.
According to Ms Adeh, the suspects confessed to orchestrating a series of kidnapping operations across Kaduna, Niger, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), during which several individuals were abducted.
She further disclosed that the gang was arrested while plotting additional kidnappings in Abuja and Niger.

The statement read: “The Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the FCT Police Command has arrested four notorious kidnappers responsible for abductions in Jabi, Dutse village, Lugbe, and other locations. These suspects confessed to have been involved in a series of kidnapping operations across Kaduna, Niger, and the FCT, during which they abducted several victims and killed over seven others
“The gang was planning to carry out further kidnappings within Abuja and Niger, but our officers intercepted and apprehended them before the attack could take place.”
