Long time, no fashion gist! Nigerian celebrities have set out to make this year a fashion-memorable one. Nigerian celebrities and fashionistas do not need a runway to make fashion statements. Any time of the day, they make a fashion statement that leaves jaw-dropping.
In January, there was a lot of fashion buzzkill by celebrities. In this article, I will be reviewing some of these looks that caught my attention maybe because of their simplicity, color choice, or even fabric choice, and last but not least, the styling process.

Veekee James’ tan suit
The celebrity fashion designer, Vekee James, wore this tan suit jacket and white pants, giving this calm boss vibes. The white hems on the suit jacket give it an angelic feel and prompt me into a heavenly realm.
Mercy Aigbe sky blue organza look
A dazzling beauty in blue. This wavy-like organza design has become a trendy fashion material these days. Matching this look with a pink shoe and a bag pops out the subtle color of the outfit. The celebrity actress wore it for the Lagos Canvas last month
I could have sworn that I had not seen an orange silk suit until I saw this masterpiece. This outfit is a bold move embellished with black beadings. The wide-legged pants are a signature style with notable folds that catch the eye. The celebrity graced the outfit to the Something About The Briggs’ movie premiere.
Stan Nze’s orange satin suit
Kiekie’s three-piece blazer set
Comments went frenzy when Kiekie posted pictures in this outfit. I am not sure I have the right adjective for this look but it was mesmerizing. The monochromatic blazer look styled by Accost collections enters the eye because of the choice of fabrics. Kiekie combining this look with the right choice of accessories accentuates the beauty of the look.
Funke Akindele’s embroidered floral gown
Chic billionaire! This outfit reminds me of the little embroidery lessons we took as kids-stitching in designs on a handkerchief. The patterns on the outfits were delicately stitched coming off as a beautiful ensemble.
Veekee James’ in Wanni Fuga
This green-assembled look was nothing out of graciousness. Veekee James surely knows how to style her dresses perfectly. The gown is a simple style but its extraneous material tied into a fashionable style gives life to the regular Wanni Fuga gown. Also, her unapologetic fascinator announced the outfit and I won’t be surprised if this prompts the popularity of fascinators again.
