Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, is scheduled for a two-day visit to Sweden aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Nigeria and the Scandinavian nation. During the visit, Shettima will engage in high-level discussions with key Swedish government representatives.

As part of the official engagements, the Vice President will meet with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. These talks are expected to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore areas of mutual cooperation between both countries.

In addition to the bilateral meetings, Vice President Shettima will engage with Norrsken, a Stockholm-based venture capital impact investor. Norrsken recently launched Norrsken22, a $205 million technology investment fund dedicated to Africa. The initiative, backed by over 30 notable unicorn founders, seeks to support entrepreneurs building Africa’s next generation of leading tech companies.

The Vice President’s discussions with Norrsken are expected to focus on investment opportunities in Nigeria’s technology sector, as well as fostering innovation and entrepreneurial growth across Africa.

Vice President Shettima is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday after completing the working visit.
