A private primary school teacher who was shown in a viral video assaulting a pupil in the Ikorodu area of Lagos was on Wednesday arrested by the police.
The female teacher, name unknown, was seen in the video hitting the male pupil on the head due to the boy’s apparent non-compliance with her instructions.
The incident which occurred at the Christ-Mitots School, Isawo Road, OlaInukan Bus-Stop, Isawo, Agric, Lagos; has since gone viral.
Ata at press time, no official statement has been issued on the matter by the Lagos State Ministry of Education.
