“Lagos State has consistently set the pace in grassroots development by championing initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents.

“From road rehabilitation and healthcare delivery to waste management, education, and community empowerment programmes, our local government institutions have proven that governance is most effective when it is localized and participatory,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.

Ahead of the upcoming local government elections, the governor reiterated the administration’s commitment to free, fair, and credible electoral processes, underscoring that these elections must reflect democratic principles, equity, and good governance.

“Stronger grassroots governance means stronger communities and stronger communities mean a more prosperous and inclusive Lagos for all of us,” Governor Sanwo-Olu noted.
