The Osun State Executive Council has approved the appointment of Prince Jokotola Olayinka Tunde as the new Olojudo of Ido-Osun in Egbedore Local Government Area of the state.

The announcement was made in a statement signed by Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment.

The appointment follows the passing of the late Oba Aderemi Adedapo, marking a significant transition for the Ido-Osun community.

According to the 1956 Registered Declaration governing the Olojudo stool, it was the turn of the Adenko Ruling House to occupy the position.

Alimi said the selection process adhered to due legal process and complied with relevant regulations.
