Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming November 16 election in Ondo State continued on Wednesday, with a visit to communities in Odigbo Local Government Area.

During the visit, Governor Aiyedatiwa assured the community that his administration would elevate Ore’s status as the economic hub of the state.

He pledged to incorporate their requests into the 2025 budget, emphasising that strategic planning would ensure the successful implementation of these projects for the benefit of all residents.

The governor also expressed deep gratitude to the Orunja of Odigbo and other monarchs across the state for their unwavering support and for promoting peace at the grassroots level.

Governor Aiyedatiwa reassured the monarchs that his administration would address the community’s concerns, particularly those related to forest reserves and inter-community relations.

Additionally, he inaugurated a block of four classrooms and a staff room at Isero Grammar School, a part of the Isero Community Project, which is supported by the Ondo Care Initiative.

At the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade, the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom, the monarch praised the governor for his steadfast commitment to the state’s development.

He highlighted the numerous development projects initiated and completed under the Aiyedatiwa administration, emphasizing their significant impact on the state’s growth and prosperity.

“It is the Ifa oracle that has chosen Aiyedatiwa, not any human being. His mandate is a divine call from our ancestors, and there is nothing anyone can do to alter this”, the monarch declared.

The Orunja urged the people of Odigbo to rally behind the governor, ensuring a decisive victory for him in the November 16 election.

He reassured that the people of Odigbo Local Government had already committed to supporting Aiyedatiwa.
