Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has offered advice to crossdresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky for contemplating suicide.

Portable encouraged Bobrisky to seek forgiveness from God and repent for his wrong ways in the wake of a leaked voice recording involving an N15 million bribery allegation.

The New Daily Prime reported that the crossdresser recording, released by social media influencer Martins ‘VeryDarkMan’ Otse went viral during the week.

In the leaked audio, Bobrisky alleged that he paid N15 million to EFCC officers to drop money laundering charges against him.

Bobrisky also alleged he served part of his jail term in a private apartment.

In response, the EFCC invited both VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky for further investigation into the matter.

On Thursday, Bobrisky expressed his frustration in a now-deleted Instagram post where he hinted at suicide.

“I have never in my life thought about suicide, but it’s crossing my mind now. Seeing what human beings do to each other just because they want to bring someone down by force or because they don’t like them.

“I don’t need anyone’s sympathy. The only people I would have needed it from are my late parents. But who will fight for you? Friends? Haters, you’ve won.”

Reacting to his suicide thought, Portable on his Instagram offered words of caution to Bobrisky.

He urged Bobrisky not to resort to suicide but instead to seek repentance.

“Bobrisky, life is risky. God does not want sinners to perish. Tell him to repent. Woe to the sinner who doesn’t repent. If you die in sin, you’re going to hell. Beg God for forgiveness. God wants redemption, not death.

“Help me tell Bobrisky that all he needs is to ask God for forgiveness. If he repents, he will find peace in this world. But if not, the consequences are severe.”
