“Expectation management is key in Quality Improvement. Patients appreciate shorter waiting periods when seeking medical attention,” he noted.
He further emphasised that Quality Improvement should be integrated into every aspect of hospital operations, encouraging officers to adopt systematic approaches and uphold functional standards.
“Quality is everyone’s business,” he asserted.
In an earlier session, SafeCare Project Manager Peggy Imoniovu urged participants to uphold the highest standards in healthcare delivery.
She underscored the sector’s low tolerance for errors, stating, “We must get regulation right to ensure quality healthcare, despite systemic challenges in Nigeria’s health sector.”
