The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Lazarus Muoka, has issued a stern warning to controversial social media influencer Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, urging him to cease his negative remarks about the church or face divine consequences.
In a recent sermon shared online, Muoka addressed his congregation regarding VeryDarkMan’s criticisms, suggesting that the influencer is experiencing the repercussions of his comments.
“VeryDarkMan is learning something today in a hard way,” Muoka stated, implying that the activist’s situation is dire due to his public statements about the church.
The warning follows a series of viral social media clips from last month, in which members of The Lord’s Chosen shared extraordinary testimonies, including claims of miraculous escapes from kidnappers and armed robbers.
One member reported being saved from kidnappers by a lion, while another claimed to have disarmed robbers and secured their arrest. Such testimonies sparked a backlash, with VeryDarkMan calling for an investigation by the Christian Association of Nigeria, alleging that the church is misleading its followers with exaggerated stories.
In response to the controversy, Muoka emphasized his desire to avoid speaking ill of anyone, stating, “If I say anything negative or evil, it will happen immediately.” He insisted that it is VeryDarkMan who is facing challenges as a result of his comments, not the church.
“If God’s anointed gets angry with you, you are finished,” he warned.
Muoka’s remarks come amidst ongoing discussions involving VeryDarkMan and other public figures, including crossdresser Bobrisky and rapper Falz, raising questions about the influencer’s recent confrontations and his calls for accountability within religious circles.
As tensions escalate, the eyes of the public remain fixed on both Muoka and VeryDarkMan, as this unfolding saga continues to attract significant attention on social media.
