Gov Otu approves N70,000 minimum wage for workers

Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 for state workers, marking a significant step toward improving their welfare.

In a statement shared on his X page on Monday, Governor Otu explained that the decision was the outcome of an agreement between the state government and organised labour on implementing the revised national minimum wage.
