Poised to ensure a hitch free Christmas /new year celebration for Nigerians, Dangote Petroleum Refinery, today announced reduced it’s fuel price to N899.50 per litre.

The announcement was made via a statement shared on the company’s X page and signed by the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.

The statement highlighted that this is the second price reduction within two months, aimed at easing transportation costs during the festive season.

Chiejina further disclosed that the company introduced a special offer to benefit consumers.

“For every litre purchased on a cash basis, customers can now buy an additional litre on credit”, he said.

“To alleviate transport costs during this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a holiday discount on PMS. From today, our petrol will be available at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM.

“Furthermore, for every litre purchased on a cash basis, consumers will have the opportunity to buy another litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank,” Chiejina added.

He added that the refinery appreciated Nigerians for their unwavering support as the nation prepares for the festive season.

Chiejina reaffirmed the refinery’s dedication to providing Nigerians with premium-quality petroleum products that are not only competitively priced but also environmentally friendly and engine-compatible.

He underscored that the refinery’s operations have ended Nigeria’s reliance on substandard and ‘blended’ imported products, which previously posed serious threats to human health, machinery, and the environment.

Boasting a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day (BPD), the Dangote Refinery is the world’s largest single-train refinery. It is fully equipped to meet Nigeria’s entire refined petroleum product needs, with an excess available for export.
