Wizkid’s, Kese(Dance), the new gbedu topping charts

Wizkid’s newly released single,Kese(Dance) has been topping the charts since its release. It is currently No.1 on Apple Music Nigeria. The music artiste explored another approach to make his Kese(Dance) a gbedu for listeners.

Even though the artiste outrightly said he is not “Afro anything”, Kese(Dance) explorers Afrobeats to create a fusion of extraordinary beats. The horns and talking drums surely have a contributing factor to that. Little wonder why it captures the soul of many. You can literally submerge yourself in the beats and in that moment you’re just proud of the African culture.

Kese‘s lyrics explores different themes of life all contributing the overall of the song. Primarily, the song is about one enjoying life while it lasts. Nigerian parties have surely found a new gbedu to vibe to. Within few days of its release, it has got its dance challenge. The banger is a vibe to rock your body to.

Just before the release of Kese on November 15, the artiste released a song which features American singer Brent Faiyaz. Piece of My Heart, won big as it became the first African song to hit over one million streams on Spotify in a single day.

Big Wiz’s latest projects have been groundbreaking and his place in the Nigerian music industry is not undisputed with these achievements. He is indeed showing workings. We believe this is just the tip of the iceberg. His upcoming album, Morayo which will be released on November 22 has got a lot of fans in anticipation.
