Popular skit maker and actor Zicsaloma has shared a new update on his rhinoplasty recovery, revealing his reasons for the surgery and addressing misconceptions.

In a new video, he opened up about his decision to have the surgery and addressed misconceptions surrounding the procedure.

Battling insecurities since childhood

Zicsaloma revealed that his struggles with self-image started at a young age. He recalled how his siblings and others often mocked the size of his nose, making him feel self-conscious.

“My siblings constantly insulted my nose, calling it too big and ugly. Among us, I was the only one with this type of nose. It made me feel different,” he shared.

These comments left a lasting impact on his confidence. For years, he wanted to reshape his nose but never had the chance—until recently.

Recovery progress and visible changes

Now, three weeks after surgery, Zicsaloma says he is healing well. He noted a significant improvement compared to his last update, which was recorded just five days after the operation.

“This is three weeks post-op. I’ll take off this cast so you can see how well my nose has healed. If you noticed, my face is less swollen. The last video I posted was five days after my surgery, and my face was still very swollen. The swelling will continue to reduce,” he explained.

Pleased with the results, he showcased his new nose, adding that it will refine further as time goes on.

Clarifying misconceptions about rhinoplasty

Addressing critics, Zicsaloma dismissed the idea that rhinoplasty is a dangerous or unnecessary procedure. He emphasized that people choose the surgery for different reasons—some for aesthetic improvements, others for medical benefits.

“Some of you don’t even know what rhinoplasty is. Some think it’s a death sentence. People undergo it for different reasons—some for aesthetics, like me, and others for medical reasons, such as breathing issues,” he said.

He also admitted that he had always wished he could alter his nose from a young age. “I’ve always had a very flat nose, and if I could have reconstructed it as a child, I would have.”

Surgery cost and hospital collaboration

Since news of his surgery broke, many fans have speculated about its cost. In his latest video, Zicsaloma addressed these rumors and clarified how the procedure was funded.

“I want the speculation to continue, but for transparency, I didn’t pay for the procedure. It was a collaboration between me and a hospital,” he revealed.

By openly discussing his experience, the comedian hopes to normalize cosmetic surgery and encourage people to make choices that boost their confidence. With his recovery progressing well, Zicsaloma remains excited about his transformation and the journey ahead.
