Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has criticized Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy for allegedly failing to keep his promise to socialite Sophia Egbueje.
The singer reportedly assured Sophia that he would buy her a Lamborghini after a one-night stand but did not follow through.

Angela Okorie calls out Burna Boy
Reacting to the controversy, Angela Okorie did not hold back. She condemned Burna Boy for what she described as an abuse of power and influence. In a video posted on her Instagram page, she expressed disappointment in the singer’s actions.
“This is the worst thing any celebrity could do,” Okorie stated. She emphasized that Burna Boy, as a public figure, has a responsibility to set a good example. According to her, many people look up to him, and his actions should reflect integrity.
“She told you her price”
Okorie further argued that Sophia had been clear about her expectations. “She told you her price,” she said. “She said she is as big as a Lamborghini. If you could afford it, then you could have her. That was the deal. But instead of keeping your word, you took advantage of her.”
The actress also criticized those attacking Sophia for making such a demand. She insisted that Sophia was simply being honest about what she wanted. “People are blaming her, but she was upfront. If you didn’t agree with it, you could have walked away,” Okorie added.
Celebrities must lead by example
Okorie called on celebrities to use their influence responsibly. “God made you a superstar for a reason,” she said, directing her words at Burna Boy. “You are supposed to help those who can’t speak for themselves. Instead, you chose to exploit someone.”
