Nigerian Nollywood actor, Kunle Omisore has disclosed that his main reason for acting was to promote his culture and tradition.
From the information gathered through The Nation Newspaper, Kunle Omisore said that his passion for acting comes from his love for the Yoruba culture and traditions which he demonstrates through filmmaking.
“I came to the industry to promote my culture so I can propagate Yoruba to the whole world,” he said. “It is my happiness that Yoruba speaking movies are trending and doing well. The recent big screen movies by me show that our language has got strength.”
Making known his future intentions of making a cinema movie, he stated, “I always make films but we are not just on box office yet but my movies are always Yoruba related. We know our onions now but you need to film with the right people so you don’t cry at the end.”
Sharing his aspirations for the movie industry, Kunle Omisore also said, “I want the movie industry to go global. We are there already, the white people are buying our tradition.”
Omisore is a successful Yoruba Movie star, who has performed and produced numerous films.
