Actress Iyabo Ojo was named the best-dressed actress at the premiere of Omoni Oboli’s film “Wives on Strike: The Uprising.”

Omoni Oboli announced the winner on her Instagram page, praising Iyabo Ojo for her stunning fashion sense and calling her a “true fashion icon” who brought vibrant style to the premiere.  

Wanneka, a popular celebrity hair entrepreneur, is offering a whopping one million naira in prize money.

Oboli also praised the other celebrities who shown their creativity during the occasion.

She celebrated the achievements of Nigerian fashion enthusiasts, particularly highlighting the creativity and effort.

“The results are in, Nigerian fashionistas really brought their Creativity, A-game, and intentionality, and we are proud to announce that the Best Dressed Winner from #TheUprisingWOS3Premiere, Female category is @iyaboojofespris.”

“You are indeed a special and true fashion icon. Congratulations Queen Mother, you lit up our world premiere with class”, she wrote.

The premiere of Omoni Oboli’s latest sequel to her “Wives on Strike” film was nothing short of ethereal and jaw-dropping, with Nollywood stars, filmmakers, and influencers in attendance.

The film is a sequel to the first two installments, “Wives on Strike” and “Wives on Strike: The Revolution,” which were released in 2016 and 2017.

“Wives on Strike: The Uprising” will include various A-list actresses, including Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli, Chioma Akpotha, Tomiwa Tegbe, KieKie, Hilda Dokubo, Ufoma McDermott, Segun Arinze, Kalu Ikeagwu, Okey Bakassi, Emeka Okoye, Julius Agwu, and others.

Tomi Adeoye is a co-producer of “Wives on Strike: The Uprising”.  The film explores the lives of market women who rally against domestic abuse after discovering that one of their own has been killed by her husband.
