Grammy award-winning artiste, Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, ignited social media attention after telling a female fan that he is married with children.
The event occurred on Tuesday at a ladies-only party in London.
A video from the event, which went viral on Wednesday, showed Wizkid surrounded by a mob of his female fans, one of whom appeared to come unusually near to the singer.
In the video, Wizkid halted his performance to respectfully tell the fan not to approach too closely, reminding her that he is a married man with children.
He said, “Baby I’m a married man, don’t come close to me, I’m married, my kids are at home.”
This, however, sparked a backlash on social media platforms, with some believing his behaviour was disrespectful.
The New Daily Prime recalls that his baby mama and manager, Jada Pollock, was recently spotted enjoying a romantic outing.
A photo from their date surfaced online, capturing the couple at an upscale restaurant. In the image, Jada is seen leaning on Wizkid’s shoulder, gently holding his chin, while both share a smile. Wizkid embraced her tenderly.
Earlier, Jada drew significant attention online after sharing a video revealing her pregnancy. In the clip, she is seen having fun at a lively event with her children and family, dressed in a vibrant red outfit that usually showed off her baby bump.
