Morayo Afolabi-Brown criticises Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru for allegedly dating Nigerian music star 2Baba, questioning her self-esteem and choices.

Speaking on TVC’s Your View, Morayo questioned Natasha’s decision, suggesting it reflects low self-esteem.

She expressed disbelief that a public figure like Natasha would consider a relationship with 2Baba, given his history of multiple relationships and children with different women. According to Morayo, Natasha should reconsider her choices and prioritize self-respect over emotions.

“Does She Not See the Red Flags?”

During the discussion, Morayo did not hold back her opinion. She argued that 2Baba’s past should be enough to make Natasha rethink any romantic involvement with him.

“Doesn’t it reek of low self-esteem to date somebody like 2Baba? How do you, a sitting lawmaker, abandon your core self and fall in love with a man who has been in so much drama?” she questioned.

Morayo went on to say that 2Baba’s history should serve as a warning. She insisted that Natasha should have weighed the consequences before allowing herself to be emotionally involved.

“For me, I’m like, ‘Aunty, are you okay? Are you seeing with your two eyes?’ This man has enough baggage for you to step back and say, ‘No, I’m not going there.’”

A Double Standard in Relationships

The TV host also highlighted what she sees as gender bias in public perception. She pointed out that if a woman had the same history as 2Baba, society would not be as forgiving.

“If you put a woman in 2Baba’s shoes, would she ever get away with it? Never. But here he is, moving on and possibly remarrying without consequences,” Morayo said.

She argued that society often judges women more harshly for relationship choices while allowing men like 2Baba to continue without serious backlash.

“2Baba Should Stay with Annie”

Morayo firmly stated that 2Baba does not deserve another chance at marriage, given his past actions. Instead, she believes he should remain committed to his current wife, Annie Idibia.

“He deserves to stay put with Annie,” she concluded. “That’s the least he can do after everything she has endured.”

Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions. Some social media users agree with her stance, arguing that 2Baba’s history should make any woman think twice. Others believe Natasha has the right to make her own choices.

As the debate continues, one thing is clear—Morayo Afolabi-Brown is not afraid to speak her mind, especially when it comes to matters of love, respect, and self-worth.
