Veteran Nollywood actress, Iniobong Edo Ekim, popularly known as Ini Edo has announced the passing of her father.
The 42-year-old actress shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post on Monday February 24th, posting a photo of her late father alongside an emotional tribute.
In the post, the grieving movie star described her late father as her greatest cheerleader and first love.
She noted that her late father would forever remain in her heart, expressing the deep void his loss has left in her heart.

She wrote, “This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first Love..The Heavens have gained an Angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on King.”

Iniobong Edo Ekim is a veteran Nigerian actress from Akwa Ibom State.
She began her acting career in 2000, and has featured in more than 200 movies since her debut.
In 2013, Ini Edo was a judge for the Miss Black Africa UK Pageant and De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt.
