No fewer than 13 persons were killed in the early hours of Tuesday as some gunmen shot sporadically into a mosque in Katsina State. Some Lagos residents have raised concerns over the persistent use of Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) across markets, parties, and retail outlets in the state despite the recent government ban. The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, on Friday agreed that there were errors in the grading of some of the papers candidate wrote in this year’s Senior Secondary School Examination, SSCE, saying the failure rate was not as pronounced as earlier announced.
