Confederation of African Football (CAF) has reaffirmed that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will take place as scheduled in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, dismissing speculation about a possible postponement.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe stated that preparations are progressing and that the tournament will be successfully delivered across the three host nations.
He emphasized CAF’s commitment to working closely with the countries to ensure stadiums, transport systems, and other key facilities meet required standards.

Although exact match dates have not yet been announced, the tournament is expected to be staged in June and July 2027.
The 2027 edition will mark the first time the Africa Cup of Nations is co-hosted by three countries.
