Former Big Brother Naija housemate and comedian Aderombi Adedayo, popularly known as Dee One, has disclosed that the Nigeria Police Force has invited him, Force Intelligence Department (FID), for a routine interview.
Dee One disclosed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, in which he read the contents of the police invitation letter addressed to him.

According to the letter, which was signed by the Commissioner of Police, Force Intelligence Department, the invitation is part of an ongoing inquiry and was described as a fact-finding interview.
The letter directed the comedian to report to the FID Annex Office in Lagos through the OCCIOS team.
Reacting to the development, Dee One said he believes the invitation may be connected to a video he recently posted, which has since generated widespread reactions and phone calls from different quarters.
While noting that opinions on the video have been divided, the comedian maintained that he does not regret making it and insisted that he did nothing wrong.
He added that he would not apologise if the invitation is linked to the comments he made, describing them as his personal views expressed as a Nigerian citizen.
“I saw something strange that happened in Turkey involving our President, our dear President, and I shared my views as an ordinary Nigerian. If this invitation is about the video I posted yesterday, I have received many calls and heard different opinions. Some people said Dee One was cyberbullying, that I should not have mentioned the President’s son or spoken about the President,” he said.
Dee One also addressed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, assuring him that he would honour the invitation.
He disclosed that he plans to report to the police office on Monday and promised to keep Nigerians updated on any developments surrounding the matter.
