Popular Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has reportedly been hospitalised following a sudden health emergency that caused her to collapse.
New Daily Prime reports that the actress shared details of the frightening incident on her Instagram page, revealing that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and briefly feared she was lifeless.
Despite the alarming symptoms, Martins said she still pushed herself to go to her shop to carry out inventory and conduct interviews for prospective staff. It was during this process that she reportedly slumped and was rushed to the hospital.
According to the actress, doctors conducted over 30 medical tests, including checks for cancer, fibroids, kidney and liver function, malaria, and typhoid. She disclosed that all the tests returned negative results.

Narrating her ordeal, Martins wrote: “Woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body. For a second, I felt lifeless. I still struggled and went to my stores to do inventory and a few interviews for incoming employees, and that was when I slumped.”
She attributed the incident to prolonged exhaustion, explaining that she worked continuously throughout December without taking time to rest.
“All through December, I worked every single day. No days off, no stretches, no nothing… just a walking corpse working tirelessly to cater for others, forgetting myself,” she added.
Martins said doctors concluded that she was suffering from extreme exhaustion and advised her to embark on complete bed rest.
She expressed gratitude for her life, noting that she was typing the message from her hospital bed and remained hopeful of recovery.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded her social media page with prayers, words of encouragement, and well-wishes as she recovers.
