After seven-year wait, Grammy-winning and rapper, Cardi B, has finally released her highly anticipated sophomore album, Am I the Drama? and it is already dominating charts.
The 23-track project debuted at No. 1 on the US iTunes albums chart shortly after release, marking a triumphant return for the Bronx-born star.
The album features powerhouse collaborations with Kehlani, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, and even music legend Janet Jackson.
Rolling Stone rated the album 4.5 stars, praising its “raw energy and fearless storytelling,” noting that Cardi B’s signature mix of wit, confidence, and vulnerability is on full display.

To promote the release, Cardi B premiered the music video for the single Safe and attended an Apple Music launch event in New York City. A global tour has also been confirmed for 2026, with dates expected to be announced in the coming months.
The album release comes at a significant time in Cardi B’s personal life.
The rapper had recently confirmed expecting a child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
In an interview with CBS, Cardi B expressed her happiness, saying she feels “in a good space” and excited about this next chapter.
