Pesident Bola Tinubu has ended his work vacation earlier than planned and will return to Abuja on today Tuesday, 16 September 2025, to resume official duties, according to a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The president departed Nigeria for France on 4 September 2025, initially intending to split his annual holiday between France and the United Kingdom.
During his time in Paris, Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
T.he leaders reviewed critical areas of cooperation between Nigeria and France, agreeing to strengthen their partnership to foster mutual prosperity and global stability.
The early return underscores Tinubu’s commitment to addressing pressing national matters as his administration continues to implement reforms aimed at economic recovery and development.
The brief statement did not specify reasons for the shortened vacation but highlighted the productive diplomatic engagement in France, signaling ongoing efforts to bolster Nigeria’s international relations.
