He noted that Morka’s background as a human rights advocate who “worked extensively with civil society organisations before venturing into politics” has shaped his approach to political communication.
The President said Morka has used his experience to clearly explain the party’s policies and programmes to Nigerians.
He added that Morka, who also serves as chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority, has contributed to the growth of the party through effective messaging.
According to the statement, Morka “has continued to build understanding between the governing party and citizens, contributing to the exponential growth in membership.”
Tinubu also commended Morka for what he described as maturity and wisdom in handling his role.
The statement said, “The President commends the national publicity secretary for the maturity and wisdom he brings to the position, and for ensuring effective internal and external communications.”
Tinubu prayed for Morka’s continued good health and well-being, as well as that of his family.
The message reflects the President’s recognition of key party officials as the APC prepares for future political activities.
