President Donald Trump has declared on Truth Social that Iran is now the “loser of the Middle East” after Iran’s apology to its neighbours and promise to stop its attacks.
Trump said that the country has surrendered, following intense military pressure. This points to what he called Iran’s first major defeat in “thousands of years”.
According to Trump’s statement, Tehran has personally reached out to Gulf nations to apologise for its past actions. He claimed that the Iranian government promised these countries it would never attack them again.
Trump also noted that leaders in the region have reached out to thank him personally for stopping Tehran’s aggressive goals.
Trump wrote, “Iran, which is being beat to hell, has apologized and surrendered.”
He emphasised that this development is a historic turning point, suggesting that Iran is currently in a position of weakness. This shows that the country is now facing a level of failure it has not seen in ancient or modern history.
Trump still warned that the situation is not over, despite the claim of Iran’s surrender. He mentioned that the United States is currently reviewing new targets inside Iran.
He stated that further military strikes are possible if the country continues what he described as “bad behavior”.
Iran has been considered a defeated nation, with the region remaining tense. Both the U.S. and Israel are continuing their operations, as Trump insists that the era of Iranian dominance in the region has come to an end.
