TV personality Kim Woodburn has died at the age of 83, her manager has confirmed. She passed away on Monday following a short illness.
Woodburn became a household name as the co-presenter of Channel 4’s How Clean Is Your House, where she shared practical cleaning advice alongside Aggie MacKenzie from 2003 to 2009.
Her sharp wit and no-nonsense style made her a fan favourite, leading to further appearances on popular reality shows.
She was the runner-up on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009 and finished in third place on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. Her stint on Loose Women also made headlines, particularly after a heated exchange with panellist Coleen Nolan.
Woodburn’s family speaks
In a statement, a family representative said: “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.
“We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends be given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details.”
