He assured the Colombian delegation, which included senior government officials and business leaders, that Nigeria would replicate the aviation and consular agreements recently signed with Brazil.
The President stated that the conclusions reached in the bilateral meetings, overseen by Vice President Kashim Shettima, would receive prompt attention from his administration.

“Particularly for Colombia, the agreement we entered with Brazil can easily be replicated in aviation, and our diplomatic relations can be enhanced. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will accelerate that.”
He also encouraged Colombian business leaders to explore Nigeria’s oil and gas sector and agricultural opportunities, highlighting the nation’s large, youthful population as both a significant market and a skilled workforce.

She emphasised that the visit was intended to revitalise ancestral connections that were severed by slavery and colonialism, establishing a long-lasting relationship based on shared cultural heritage.
