Following the heartbreaking passing of two close associates of Anthony Joshua, arrangements have been confirmed for the Janazah (funeral) prayer of Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele.
The funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the London Central Mosque, located at 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.
Ghami and Ayodele lost their lives in a fatal road accident in Nigeria on Monday, December 29, 2025.
The tragic incident occurred along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in the Makun area of Ogun State, where their vehicle was involved in a collision with a stationary truck. Both men died at the scene.

Their remains were later repatriated to the United Kingdom to allow family, friends, and members of the boxing community to pay their final respects.
Boxing King Media released a statement expressing sympathy, saying their thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the deceased.
The London service is expected to bring together relatives, close friends, and figures from the boxing world to honor the lives and contributions of Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.
