Injury update: Rodri likely to undergo surgery for torn ACL

Updates coming from Manchester City indicate that Spanish midfielder Rodri sustained a ligament injury during Sunday’s rivalry game against Arsenal. However, his recovery window may be between five to eight months depending on what his doctors decide. Man City also released a statement on Rodri’s injury. It reads, “The midfielder travelled to Spain to seek specialist consultation this week, following initial tests in Manchester. Assessment remains ongoing to ascertain the full extent of the injury and expected prognosis.”
Rodri was forced to come off in the 21st minute of the 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.
