The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw, conducted live on Sky Sports Main Event on Wednesday night, has set up several exciting matchups — with Arsenal drawn against Crystal Palace in a London showdown.
Following Newcastle United’s 2–0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, the last-eight lineup is now complete. The draw also handed Premier League champions Manchester City a home tie against Brentford, while Chelsea will travel to face Cardiff City. Defending champions Newcastle United will host Fulham at St James’ Park.
All eight clubs advanced after a dramatic round four:
Arsenal defeated Brighton 2–0
Crystal Palace shocked Liverpool with a 3–0 win at Anfield
Chelsea edged Wolves 4–3
Manchester City came from behind to beat Swansea 3–1
Newcastle United knocked out Tottenham 2–0
Below is the Carabao quarter-final draw:
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Newcastle United vs Fulham
The draw was hosted by Sky Sports presenter Mark Chapman, joined by pundits Jamie Redknapp and Jobi McAnuff.
Other Carabao Quarter-final matches are scheduled for the week commencing December 15, with Arsenal’s clash against Palace expected to be a highlight, especially after the Eagles’ stunning 3–0 triumph over Liverpool in the previous round.
As the competition reaches its decisive stages, Newcastle continue their quest to defend the trophy, while City and Chelsea aim to book their places at Wembley.
