Nottingham Forest have sacked their head coach, Sean Dyche, after less than four months in charge.
The 54-year-old leaves with the team only three points above the Premier League relegation zone. Their recent 0-0 draw against bottom club Wolves added more pressure.
There are 12 games left this season, and the club hopes a new manager can help them avoid relegation.

Nottingham Forest appoint Ange Postecoglou as head coach
In a short statement, Forest thanked Dyche and his staff for their work and wished them well.
A club statement read: “Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach. We thank Sean and his staff for their work and wish them well for the future.”
Dyche was hired in October and had a contract until 2027. He replaced Ange Postecoglou, who was in charge for only 39 days. Before that, Nuno Espirito Santo was also sacked. Forest are now looking for their fourth permanent manager this season.
When Dyche first arrived, Forest were 18th in the table. He improved results at the start, winning seven of his first 12 games and moving the team out of the bottom three. At that time, their form was good enough for mid-table.
But results became worse. Forest won only two of their last 10 league matches and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Wrexham. In the draw against Wolves, they had 35 shots but failed to score, which made fans and club owners unhappy.
After the match, Dyche said the final decision about his job was up to the owner, Evangelos Marinakis.
During last season, Forest finished seventh and qualified for Europe. This season, even though they reached the knockout stage of the Europa League, their league form has been poor and they are now fighting to stay in the Premier League.
With important matches coming up, including a European game against Fenerbahce, Forest must quickly find a new manager to try to save their season.
