The announcement follows the approval of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and was made public by the National Working Committee (NWC) through a press statement signed by Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary.
The 110-member NCOC will be chaired by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, serving as Vice Chairman, and Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, as Secretary.
The committee is tasked with overseeing preparations for the PDP’s 2025 Elective National Convention, scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The NWC urged all PDP leaders, stakeholders, and members to remain united and focused to ensure the success of the upcoming convention, which is expected to be a pivotal event for the party’s future.
The convention will play a critical role in electing new leadership and setting the party’s agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The PDP, one of Nigeria’s major political parties, is leveraging this convention to strengthen its position and rally its base.
The choice of Ibadan as the venue underscores the party’s commitment to engaging its strong support base in the South-West region.
