The minister called his appointment an honour, particularly as he hadn’t met Tinubu before and pledged to deliver on the mandate entrusted to him to care for humanity and design policies aimed at alleviating poverty across the nation.
Addressing the scale of the challenge in a country with a population of approximately 250 million, the minister stressed that the successful execution of his duties requires collective effort.
“This job cannot be done by me alone. It needs a united front to be able to achieve the task at hand,” Doro stated.
He called upon the staff of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to “join hands with me so that they can unite and focus on the primary objective.”
He expressed confidence that through a unified approach, “we will be able to achieve great success.”
Doro reaffirmed his commitment to the core principle of his ministry.
“We are here to serve humanity. Everything I’m doing will be directed to serve humanity.”
He thanked the dignitaries in attendance, especially the governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang.

Born on January 23, 1969, in Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, Dr Doro brings more than two decades of multidisciplinary experience spanning clinical medicine, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership, and community development.
He has worked extensively in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom, earning a reputation for professionalism and public service.
