Pastor Akande described the development as a major milestone in the party’s preparations for the contest.
“We are pleased to formally inform the good people of Osun State that His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has been successfully uploaded into the records of INEC as the Accord Party’s candidate,” he stated.
The confirmation resolves lingering questions about the party’s nomination procedures and demonstrates full compliance with electoral regulations.
“The confirmation by INEC is an affirmation that the nomination process has been duly concluded in line with the requirements of the law,” Pastor Akande added.
The Accord Party chairman expressed gratitude to residents, party members, and supporters across Osun State for their continued backing since the preparations began.
He highlighted the widespread solidarity and confidence shown towards both the party and Governor Adeleke, describing it as overwhelming and encouraging.
Pastor Akande urged party faithful and all eligible voters to stay committed to the electoral process as the poll approaches.
He specifically called on residents of voting age to ensure they are duly registered with INEC and have collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in good time.
