Popular music producer Samklef has shared his theory on why Davido continues to face disrespect, despite his generosity.
Recently, skit maker Nasty Blaq expressed frustration over the way the DMW boss is treated by others, despite his kind nature.
This situation unfolded after content creator Kortney took to social media to criticize Davido for preventing her from posting their interview.
In response, Samklef offered his perspective on the disrespect Davido faces. He drew a comparison between Davido and Olamide, pointing out that while both have supported many people, Davido tends to give with expectations and a desire for control, unlike Olamide.
The music producer suggested that Davido should stop portraying himself as a victim, arguing that he invites disrespect by trying too hard to please others.
“Olamide has helped a lot of people than davido why are people not disrespecting him ? Davido brought it to himself! This is what happen when you are always trying to look good in the eyes of everybody! You Dey help base on expectation! Base on control.
I gat love for him he just need to stop playing victims!”
Samklef had earlier called Davido out for ridiculing his logistics manager, Israel DMW’s estranged wife, Sheila Courage.
The New Daily Prime recalls that Israel married Sheila on October 20, 2022, but the couple split up less than a year later due to suspected domestic violence and infidelity.
However, in a viral video posted on social media on Friday, Davido commented on Israel’s marital difficulties.
While boarding his recently purchased private plane with Israel, the artist was overheard saying that Sheila ‘is regretting now’.
Samklef responded to the video clip with a series of postings on his official X handle, claiming that Davido lacks humanity and morality.
He pointed out that Wizkid and Burna Boy would never call someone’s ex-wife a bitch.
“Dear Davido, you have shown a lack of morals by calling Israel’s ex-wife a “bitch.” How would you feel if someone called your wife, Chioma, the same?
“Wasn’t Israel already flying in private jets before your marriage? Why do you lower yourself like this? You seem to lack empathy and morals, but of course, your hypocritical fans won’t see problem in your childish remark. Happiness does not come from flying in a private jet. You need mentorship and counseling.
“Somebody needs to tell Davido the truth. He needs to grow up. Private jet material thing. Zero mentorship.”
