Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to rapid and effective governance, declaring that his team is in a hurry to fulfill its promises to the people.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed and reappointed members of the State Executive Council on Thursday, Aiyedatiwa charged them to immediately settle into their roles and deliver tangible results.
The newly sworn-in officials include Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Olukayode Ajulo as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Omowumi Isaac as the Commissioner for Finance.
Others are Johnson Alabi, who will serve as the Special Adviser on Power, Seun Osamaye as the Special Adviser on Women Affairs, and Bola Taiwo as the Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties.

Also appointed are Simidele Odimayo as the Special Adviser on Health and Abiola Olawoye as the Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing.
Governor Aiyedatiwa stressed that his administration’s approach to governance is centered on speed, accuracy, and measurable impact.
He urged the new officials to align with the seven-point developmental agenda, “OUR EASE,” designed to drive growth across the state.

He also emphasised the need for teamwork and collaboration with career officers, Permanent Secretaries, and Accounting Officers in Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to ensure seamless governance.
To promote accountability and efficiency, the governor announced the introduction of performance measurement techniques, warning that his administration would not tolerate corruption, indolence, or disloyalty.
“We demand excellent performance from all appointees because that is the primary reason we were voted into office by the good people of Ondo State,” he stated.
Governor Aiyedatiwa praised the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, and other lawmakers for their swift confirmation of the commissioners, describing their cooperation as a reflection of their commitment to the state’s progress.

Responding on behalf of the appointees, Fasoranti, the newly appointed SSG, expressed gratitude to the governor for the confidence reposed in them.
He assured that they would work tirelessly to support the administration’s vision and deliver impactful governance.
