Several Nigerian celebrities have voiced concern over the worsening insecurity across the country, particularly following the recent attack on Christians during Palm Sunday in Jos, Plateau State.

Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and one half of the P-Square duo, reacted to the attack by saying Nigerians are not showing enough outrage over the security situation.

“We are not angry enough!!! Maybe na until God come down for earth,” he wrote on X.
Similarly, comedian and activist Debo Adebayo criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu, describing it as “incompetent and irresponsible.”
He accused the government of failing to protect citizens, claiming that Nigerians are forced to deal with tragedies on a daily basis. In another post, Mr Macaroni questioned why the president had not addressed the nation despite reports that more than 40 people were killed in the attack in Jos.

Furthermore, actor Kunle Remi also reacted by urging Nigerians to use images and videos showing insecurity and hardship as part of birthday messages to President Tinubu, who recently turned 74.
“There is a video of a woman in pain crying over the loss of someone; that is the image we should use if you want to wish President Tinubu a happy birthday,” he said in a video message.
The reactions from the celebrities have added to growing public concern over the security challenges facing the country, with many Nigerians continuing to call for stronger action from the government.
